This is a one day in-person workshop focussing on practical, core skills required by professional investigators. The day starts at 09:00 and runs until 17:00 with morning and afternoon refreshment breaks and lunch provided.
Students will look at learn about the purpose of witness statements, types of witness evidence, planning and preparing for a statement, legal and ethical considerations, conducting the interview, engage in a statement taking exercise, common mistakes and best practice before a review and close.
