This is a one-day, in-person workshop focussing on core skills essential for professional investigators. The day commences at 09:00 and ends at 17:00. The day includes an hour for lunch with short refreshment breaks in the morning and afternoon.
Students will learn about the purpose and role of process serving, types of documents and methods of service, planning and preparing for service, legal and professional considerations, conducting service in practice, participate in a process serving exercise and common mistakes and best practice. The workshop will conclude with a review and close.
